Theresa H. Cerny, nee Motsch, age 86 of Chicago pased away February 12, 2022. Beloved wife of William for 65 years; loving mother of William, Jr. (Patricia), Katherine (Patrick) Michaels, Mary Beth (Ronald) Stillmaker, Lisa (Daniel) Clark, and Julie (David) Marubio; proud and cherished grandmother of 6; great-grandmother of 6; dear daughter of the late Peter and Mary Motsch; fond sister of Patricia (the late Frank) Steiner and James (Angela) Motsch; special aunt of many nieces and nephews. Theresa was a longtime employee of Sears Roebuck and Company. Visitation Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 3-9 pm at Matz Funeral Home, 3440 N.Central Ave., Chicago. Prayers at the funeral home Wednesday 9:15 am from the funeral home to St. Ladislaus Church. Mass 10 am. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the St. Benedict Home, St. Ladislaus Church or Rainbow Hospice appreciated.
