Thaddeus "Ted" Tragarz, age 92 of Chicago passed away February 15. 2014 Loving son of the late Anna; fond brother of the late Joseph (Alice); dear uncle of Eric (Patty) Tragarz, Ellen (James) Kaiser, and Bruce Tragarz; great uncle of many. WWII Army Veteran having served in the first Infantry Division known as "the Big Red One". His love of thoroughbred horse racing made him a regular at Arlington Park Race Course during the racing season. Visitation Saturday February 22, 2014 from 9:00AM am until funeral prayers at 10:30AM Matz Funeral Home 3440 N. Central Avenue Chicago proceeding to Saint Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Church for 11:00AM Mass. Interment Saint Adalbert Cemetery with Military Honors.
