Richard H. Veit, Sr. age 78. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Magdlin); loving father of Janice (Gerald) Kurowski, Richard H. Jr., Kenneth (Dawn) and Gerald Veit; grandfather of Devin and Timothy; dear brother of Donald (Irmi) Veit; uncle of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mr. Veit was a U.S. army veteran of the Korean war, a retired electrical engineer for Chicago Bridge and Iron and an avid Chicago White Sox fan. Interment Ridgewood cemetery.
