Leroy J. Van Gerrewey, age 78, of Kenosha, WI formerly of Des Plaines passed away October 12, 2014. Loving husband of Sharon for 44 years; dear father of Steven (Kate) Reschke, Kristin (Robert) Weaver, and Debbie Van Gerrewey; proud grandfather of 5, great-grandfather of 3; brother of 2. Visitation Thursday, Oct. 16 from 3-9 pm at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mt. Prospect. Funeral service Friday 12 Noon at the funeral home. Interment in Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society appreciated.
